Membership Information

GCSU Student Memberships

 1. Currently Enrolled, Fee-Paying GCSU Students

WRC Membership is included in the mandatory student fees paid by fully-enrolled GCSU students taking on-campus courses. WRC Memberships are automatically applied to student accounts. Membership status updates at the start and end of each semester. Students enrolled in one or more on-campus course over summer continue to have WRC access.

2. Currently Enrolled, Non-Fee Paying Students

GCSU Students who are enrolled in on-line only and/or Graduate courses may not be required to pay student fees. Non-Fee paying students may purchase an optional Student Membership at the Member Services desk.  Fee is payable by credit/debit card. (Does NOT include access to Student Health Services) COST:  $175/semester

3. Student Summer Fee

The Summer Fee is available to GCSU students who were enrolled for Spring semester, and are enrolled for the upcoming Fall semester, but are not enrolled in a fee-paying (on-campus) class over Summer break. Alumni and Transfer students are not eligible for this membership.  This option is available from May through August and includes access to the WRC as well as Student Health Services. Payment may be made at the Member Services desk or at Student Health Services.  COST:  $50/Summer

GCSU Faculty/staff memberships

Memberships are available to full-time, benefit-eligible faculty and staff (employment verification is required).  

1. Recurring Membership, Credit/Debit Card 

Monthly membership dues are automatically billed to a credit/debit card. Billing occurs the first week of every month. First month's membership fee is pro-rated. Memberships paid by credit/debit card may be purchased online or in person at the WRC Member Services desk. COST: $25/month

2. Recurring Membership, Payroll Deduction 

Monthly membership dues are automatically deducted from the employee's paycheck. Payroll deduction memberships must be purchased in person at the WRC Member Services desk. Initial fees must be paid by credit/debit card at time of purchase. First month's membership fee is pro-rated. Memberships started on/after the 20th of the month will require payment of upcoming month's fee to allow time for payroll to process deduction request. COST: $25/month

3. One-Month Membership

Single payment by credit/debit card for one month. Membership may be purchased online or in person. Membership begins on date of purchase and automatically ends one-month from purchase date. COST: $25/month

4. Pre-Paid Membership 

Single payment by credit/debit card for multiple months. Chose from 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Membership may be purchased online or in person. Membership begins on date of purchase and ends automatically. COST: $25/month

GCSU ReTIREE MEMBERSHIPS

GCSU Retiree Membership is available to faculty/staff who have retired from GCSU. In order to purchase this membership, Retirees must first obtain a GCSU Retiree Bobcat Card from the Bobcat Card Office. This card must be shown in person at the Member Services desk. All GCSU Retiree Memberships must be purchased in person.

Monthly membership dues are automatically billed to a credit/debit card. Billing occurs the first week of every month. First month's membership fee is pro-rated. COST: $25.00/month

2. One-Month Membership

Single payment by credit/debit card for one month. Membership begins on date of purchase and automatically ends one-month from purchase date. COST: $25.00/month

3. Pre-Paid Membership 

Single payment by credit/debit card for multiple months. Chose from 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Membership begins on date of purchase and ends automatically. COST: $25.00/month

COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIPS

Members of the community, age 18 and over, are welcome to purchase WRC memberships by the day or month. This category includes the spouses, partners, or adult family members of GCSU students or employees; as well as those not affiliated with Georgia College & State University.

1. Recurring Membership, Credit/Debit Card 

Monthly membership dues are automatically billed to a credit/debit card. Billing occurs the first week of every month. First month's membership fee is pro-rated. Memberships may be purchased online or in person at the WRC Member Services desk. COST: $50/month

2. One-Month Membership

Single payment by credit/debit card for one month. Membership may be purchased online or in person. Membership begins on date of purchase and automatically ends one-month from purchase date. COST: $50/month

3. Pre-Paid Membership 

Single payment by credit/debit card for multiple months. Chose from 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Membership may be purchased online or in person. Membership begins on date of purchase and ends automatically. COST: $50/month

4. One-Day Membership

Single payment by credit/debit card for one day. Membership may be purchased online or in person. Membership is valid for date of purchase only.  COST: $10/day

Membership Cancelation

To cancel your membership, please complete our ONLINE CANCELATION FORM.  

A member of our Member Services team will confirm your membership cancelation by email.  If you do not receive a confirmation, or for questions, please contact our Member Services desk at (478) 445-7777.

• All memberships are eligible for cancelation with the exception of the GCSU student membership.
• Single Day, Single Month, and Pre-Paid Memberships end automatically. No cancelation is required.
• Recurring Memberships paid by Credit/Debit Card must be canceled by the last business day of the current month. 
  • Memberships active on the 1st day of the month will be billed automatically.
  • Membership cancelations requested mid-month will not be eligible for full or partial refunds.
  • Members understand and agree that they are responsible for satisfying the membership dues each month, and may be charged $25 for insufficient funds. Member also understands that the authorized amount is subject to change annually.
• GCSU Employee Memberships paid by Payroll Deduction must be canceled prior to the 20th of the current month to allow for processing.

Quick Reference for Memberships

• Join anytime.  No Contracts.
• Memberships are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.
• Minimum age for membership is 18 years. (Excluding fully enrolled GCSU students)
• Valid, government issued, photo ID is required for membership purchase.
• Automatic monthly billing memberships required password protected account.
• Cancelation requests must be received by the last business day of the current month.
• Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Tap technology available. Cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal, etc. are not accepted.
• Operation hours are subject to change based on GCSU breaks, holidays, and events. 
• Segmented memberships are not available. (example: Pool Only, Fitness Only, etc..)
• Community members must register vehicle(s) for parking.
• Waiver of Liability must be signed prior to participation.
• Pool operation/temperature is not guaranteed.
