The Council of Student Ambassadors application for the 2024-2025 academic year will open July 15, 2024.
Selection Criteria
CSA membership is highly selective. Service as an ambassador is recognized by faculty, staff, and students as a high honor to which students aspire.
Ambassadors will be selected using the following criteria and guidelines:
- Applicants must be a full-time regularly enrolled Georgia College student who expects to complete his or her degree at Georgia College.
- Applicants should have a minimum college or high school GPA of 3.0. Members are expected to maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher throughout their time on the Council.
- Applicants should have polished speaking skills and be able to “think on their feet.”
- Applicants should have a professional, reliable, and motivated attitude.
Mandatory Dates*
- Application Closes - September 1, 11:59 p.m.
- Meet and Greet - September 3
- Interviews - September 5 & 6
- Induction Ceremony - September 11, 5:30 p.m.
- Fallfest Training - September 13 & 20
- Fallfest (Georgia College Fall Preview Day) - September 21
- Super SaTOURday - October 19
- New Member Trainings - Dates TBD
