Accounting Advisory Board Professional Development Award
These awards are intended to support your professional development. The funds should be used for activities that further enhance your preparation to enter the accounting profession. This may include such things as the purchase of CPA review materials, purchase of professional attire for an internship, participation in a study abroad trip, or attending a workshop.
Multiple awards available - $250 to $500
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Majoring in Accounting
- Completed at least 45 credit hours by the end of current Spring semester
- Registered for classes at Georgia College for upcoming Fall semester
Anthony Tan Scholarship
Requirements:
- Status: Rising sophomore, junior, or senior
- Management Information Systems or Computer Science majors
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Full-time enrollment for both semesters of the academic year
Business Minority Scholarship
Requirements:
- Minority student
- Majoring in business.
College of Business Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Majoring in business.
Dr. Jo Ann Jones Business Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Status: Rising junior or senior
- Majoring in business.
- 3.2 minimum GPA.
Dr. Ken Jones Scholarship
Requirements:
- Majoring in business
- Preference given to students majoring in Management Information Systems
Georgia College Accounting Education Scholarship
Requirements:
- Status: Senior Accounting major who has applied for the Georgia College 5th year Master of Accountancy program
Georgia Society of CPAs Academic Excellence Award
Requirements:
- Status: Undergraduate Accounting major
- Earned the highest overall GPA in the graduating class
Green Berry Williams & Madeline Williams Jackson Alumni Scholarships in Marketing
Requirements:
- Geographical: Georgia residents only
- Status: rising junior to senior
- Marketing major.
- GPA of 2.5 or greater
Gussie Smith Usery Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Pursuing major within the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology
- First preference is for a female student with demonstrated financial need from Baldwin, Hancock, Jones, Putnam, Washington, or Wilkinson County.
Harry Glover Scholarship
The Harry Glover Scholarship was created to honor Dr. Harry Glover, a former faculty member and department chair. This scholarship is awarded to individuals who have showed a progressive improvement in GPA.
Requirements:
- Status: Rising senior
- Major: Management Information Systems or Computer Science majors (declared)
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Essay required of finalists
- Full-time enrollment for both semesters of the next academic year
HAW Undergraduate Scholarship
Undergraduate Scholarship - $1500
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Completed at least 60 credit hours by the end of current Spring semester
- Registered for undergraduate classes at Georgia College for the upcoming Fall semester
HAW Graduate Scholarship
Graduate Scholarship - $1000
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Accepted into the MAcc program
- Registered for graduate classes at Georgia College for upcoming Fall semester
Infinity Network Solutions Scholarship
Requirements:
- Status: Rising junior or senior
- Management Information Systems major
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.8
- Student should show involvement with the major
- Essay required
- Preference given to individuals working at least 20 hours per week
- Preference given to individuals who have or had an internship or job in the IT field
- Full-time enrollment for both semesters of the next academic year
Infinity Network Solutions Fellowship
Requirements:
- Status: Rising junior or senior
- Computer Science or Management Information Systems major
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Must follow required application process for internship
Recipients receive a paid summer internship completed for 3 hours of course credit at Infinity Network Solutions in Macon followed by $250 fall scholarship and $250 spring scholarship. Renewable for a second summer and academic year at the request of Infinity Network Solutions if the student is not graduating.
Joseph F. Specht Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:

Julie Ward Darity Ethics Essay Scholarship
This scholarship is for the essay competition first-place and second-place winners.

J. Whitney Bunting Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Majoring in business or Computer Science
- Status: Rising senior
- Outstanding College of Business student
Katherine Inmon Ard Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Pursing a major within the Bunting College of Business and Technology who have an
- Interest in international business education.
- Monies should, but are not restricted to, support students studying abroad through the Bunting College of Business and Technology.
O.C. Eidson Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Majoring in business
Porter Keadle Moore Scholarship
Undergraduate Scholarship - $1000
Requirements:
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Completed at least 60 credit hours by the end of current Spring semester
- Registered for undergraduate classes at Georgia College for the upcoming Fall semester
Thiele Kaolin Fellowship
The Thiele Kaolin Fellowship recipient will work for two summers and will receive 3 credit hours from Georgia College at the end of the fellowship. Fellowships are $1,000 for the first summer semester and $1,500 the 2nd summer semester.
Requirements:
- Major in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and will rotate on an annual basis.
Truman W. Clifton Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Status: Senior Accounting major who has applied for the Georgia College Master of Accountancy program
Wilson College of Business Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Accounting major
- First preference is given to students from Washington County
