Unique Study Abroad Programs: This year, the Honors College is raising funds to provide $1000 scholarships, for up to ten students, to support study abroad in Montepulciano, Itlay during the summer of 2025! The Montepulciano program is a collaborative initiative of Kennesaw State University, Georgia College & State University, Georgia Southern University, and Valdosta State University, with students and faculty coming from all four institutions. Dr. Steve Elliott-Gower, one of the Honors College’s most beloved faculty members, is teaching in the first (May-June) session. GCSU Honors students will thus be going with Dr. Gower and learning from him. The scholarship application is available online, through this embedded link. Scholarship applications are due by Nov. 8. Please reach out to Dr. Gower (steve.elliott-gower@gcsu.edu) as well to let him know that you are interested in going to Montepulciano. He can fill you in on details. Also, please note that students will need to submit an a Montepulciano program application to both to KSU and GCSU via these embedded links.
