About the Inclusive Leadership Certificate (ILC) Program
The Office of Inclusion and Belonging is excited to present a new professional development program called the Inclusive Leadership Certificate (ILC) Program. In this program, Georgia College & State University faculty and staff will have the opportunity to gain valuable professional skills and knowledge concerning foundational concepts of inclusion. Upon completion of the program, faculty, and staff will have enhanced individual aptitudes and knowledge, developed the capacity to appreciate differing perspectives, and acquired valuable skills for their contribution to a welcoming and inclusive academic and workplace environment at GCSU.
ILC Core Workshop Sessions
ILC program participants MUST complete the core workshop sessions. The program orientation will only be offered once during the academic year. All other sessions will be offered once in the Fall semester and once in the Spring to provide flexibility to the participants’ schedules.
Program requirements:
- Completion of a Pre and Post-Harvard University Implicit Bias online assessment
- 4 core ILC workshop sessions
- 2 elective workshop/event sessions with reflections
- Group project /oral reflection
How to Apply:
- Space is limited. A cohort of 5 – 10 people will be selected by OIB staff. There is no cost to participate.
- Complete an online submission form and submit a letter of recommendation from a direct report or department head.
