Friday, November 1

2 - 6 p.m. - Check-In @ Magnolia Ballroom / Student Activities Center 
Start your weekend by checking in at the Magnolia Ballroom / Student Activities Center located at 300 W Hancock Street. Receive your welcome packet, weekend schedule, and have any questions answered! (Check-in will remain open on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

5:00 p.m. - Food Truck Frenzy @ Old Courthouse and Front Campus
Families, join us as we celebrate the beginning of Family Weekend with food trucks! Get a taste of Milledgeville and enjoy Milledgeville Mainstreet’s First Friday event themed “Touch-A-Truck.” There will be food, music, face painting, and more. Lawn games will be set up on Front Campus for families to enjoy, as well as tables scattered to sit and enjoy the atmosphere with family. 

8:00 - 9:30 p.m. - rePercussion – The Beat of Their Own Drum @ A&S Auditorium 
Join the rhythm revolution with rePercussion! These dynamic drumming masters bring an unparalleled blend of sound, sight, and comedy. Seen on The Gong Show and America's Got Talent (for 2 seconds!), rePercussion crafts customized, high-energy performances that blur the lines between genres. Their electrifying shows have graced stages worldwide, even setting a World Record for the largest Air Drum Ensemble.

8:00 - 10:30 p.m. - Glow Casino and Glow Mini Golf @ Donahoo Lounge & The Den in MSU
Join us for family fun at Glow Casino and a 9-hole Glow Mini Golf! 
 
 

Saturday, November 2

9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Check-In @ Magnolia Ballroom / Student Activities Center
Arriving on Saturday? We're happy to have you! Check-in at the Magnolia Ballroom / Student Activities Center located at 300 W Hancock Street to receive your welcome packet and have any questions answered! 

10 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Family Field Day @ the Wellness and Recreation Center  
Bring your competitive side for a friendly family field day! We'll feature leaderboard competitions and games just for fun. Don't worry, we won't make you break a sweat! 

12 p.m. - 6 p.m. - College Game Day Watch Party @ The Den located on the 1st floor of the Maxwell Student Union  
College football fan? Cool off in The Den and cheer on your favorite football team!  

12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Cookout @ West Campus Pavilion
Join us for a cookout before the GCSU Soccer game! 

1:00 p.m. - GCSU Women’s Soccer vs. Georgia Southwestern State @ West Campus fields
Cheer on the GCSU Soccer team as they take on  Georgia Southwestern State! 

3:00 p.m. - GCSU Women’s Volleyball vs. Lander @ Centennial Center
Join us for an exciting volleyball game against Lander! Let’s go Bobcats!  

6:00 p.m. - Roderick Russell, Comedy Hypnosis @ Russell Auditorium

The registration fee includes access to all Family Weekend events above, the cookout on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. Tickets will be required for entry to certain events.

Friday, November 1

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. - Tour the Old Governor’s Mansion  
Tours begin on the hour. The last tour begins at 4 p.m. $10 for adults, $7 for pre-booked adult groups (10+ visitors), $7 for Senior Citizens, $2 for students, free to children under 6 and all GC faculty, staff, and students! 

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. - Tour the Andalusia Interpretive Center  
Tours begin on the hour. The last tour begins at 4 p.m. $7 for adults, $6 for pre-booked adult groups (10+ visitors), $6 for Senior Citizens, $2 for students, and free to children under 6 and all GC faculty, staff, and students! 

10 a.m. – Historic Trolley Tour  
Hop aboard the town’s most iconic resident “Milly the Trolley” for a fully narrated tour of Milledgeville’s historic district! Featuring grand architecture, beautiful squares, and historic neighborhoods, the sixty-minute tour provides an overview of Milledgeville’s history during its sixty-eight-year period as Georgia's capital city. Trolley tours are hosted on Friday and Saturday at 10 am, depart from the Milledgeville Visitor Information Center, and are offered rain or shine. Tickets are $12 per person. Pre-purchased tickets are encouraged and may be arranged in person or by calling 478-452-4687. Please note, the trolley is ADA compliant but moderate mobility is recommended for those who wish to disembark at the statehouse square and St. Stephens Episcopal Church. 

8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. - Tour the Natural History Museum @ Herty Hall
Tour the Natural History Museum. The 2,500-square-foot museum is dedicated to paleontology- the study of fossils and ancient life forms. Many fossils displayed have been collected by GC professors and students.

5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Sunset Paddle with Oconee Outfitters
Join Oconee Outfitters for a 4.5 mile night paddle under the stars! Paddlers will begin at the Oconee River Greenway ramp and paddle to the Central State ramp. Bring your own kayak or rent one.
