CATALOG
Undergraduate students are automatically assigned to the catalog in effect during the term they matriculate at Georgia College, and remain under the curricular requirements for that catalog as long as they are continuously enrolled. All of a student's degree requirements (core, major(s), and/or minor (s) must be completed using the same catalog. A students may elect to "move up" to a later catalog with the permission of his or her advisor and department chair; however, student who take this option will be required to complete all curricular requirements as listed in that catalog.
Because of the changes in the University System of Georgia and Georgia College Core Curriculum that go into effect in Fall 2011, students who matriculated at Georgia College before Fall 2011 will only be given permission to "move up" to the Fall 2011 catalog and use the new core requirements in exceptional circumstances. Students who matriculated prior to Fall 2011 should be prepared to complete requirements using the catalog to which they were assigned when they were admitted to Georgia College.
