COMMENCEMENT
The University holds a formal commencement ceremony each year at the end of the Spring Semester. Diplomas are mailed following graduation. Graduating students are responsible for maintaining a current permanent home address or informing the Office of the Registrar of a diploma mailing address. Students who have completed all degree requirements will be invited to participant in commencement exercises.
Commencement is a weekend-long series of events celebrating students who are graduating at any point within the academic year. Students graduate when they have completed all of their degree requirements and are officially cleared to receive their diplomas. Most students take part in commencement, but participating is not required in order to graduate.
