COUNSELING SERVICES
Georgia College provides a range of counseling services free of charge to all GC students. Personal counseling helps individuals deal with the stresses and concerns that university students often experience. Career counseling and inventories may be useful to those who are undecided about a choice of major or career path. Educational counseling is offered on such matters as study skills, time management, and test-taking skills. Services to faculty and staff include consultation, presentations to classes, and crisis intervention. Group experiences, workshops, and seminars are offered to help students develop skills and achieve goals. Confidentiality is maintained, information is generally released only by authorization of the student.
