MUEN 1050/3050. BRASS ENSEMBLE. (0 or 1)

Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor required for 0 credit. Study and performance of music composed and arranged for a brass ensemble (trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba). This course is repeatable for credit.

MUEN 1060/3060. ORCHESTRA. (0 or 1)

Prerequisite: Permission required for 0 credit. A chamber orchestra comprised of GC students (music and non-music majors) faculty, and community members. Emphasis will be on the study and performance of a variety of orchestral literature fostering the members' musical development. Rehearses twice a week and performs one or several concerts each semester. This course can be used as a required ensemble for music majors with a principal string instrument. It can be used as an elective for all university students.
